About Me

I am a traveler who believes that there is no place like home. I’m a conservative liberal and realistic optimist. I let my head rule my heart, but admire those who do the opposite. I guess you could sum me up as a walking contradiction.

I just wanted to say that I heard this poem read in a program that I was in when I myself was in 6th or 7th grade and I have been searching and searching for it. Thanks for posting it.

  2. “A walking contridiction”, i feel like that sometimes, but i don’t look at as a contridiction just that i am a very complex human being as we all are. I visit the sister at http://invisiblemuslimah.blogspot.com sometimes and found your blog there. InshaAllah will read more here, that pharse caught my attention and I decided to comment.

I loved your post about your experience in Qatar. I lived there 4 years. It was amazing and I’m an African American woman too. Let’s connect. Salam
